This year I've been spending more time on webdesign, sketching and writing the scenario for my comics. Strange how little colour is here; I'm probably getting used to work in grayscale. It's also much less messy.

An illustration for a 2006 calendar.
Black ink.

Extremely simple and quick (finished in about 2 hours), but I like it. There's something Victorian (or Utena-esque) about it...

This reminds me of the 60s...
Red paper, black and white ink.

Look, I can draw chibis! Isn't she adorable?

In fact I did start drawing the comics anew. This was supposed to be the first page, but it didn't come out as I would have liked it.

The Butterfly Tattoo, but not Philip Pullman.
Black and red ink.

Actually there is a place like this in Prague: Na Vaclavce street at Smichov.

Once again, a photoshopped drawing intended for my new webdesign.

Finally, the comics! This should be the title page of Act 1.

  The major female characters.
Pencil and ink.

  Ridiculously gothic.
Pencil, ink and watercolour.

A secret illustration: Shot at dawn.
Pencil, ink and water colour (basically).

Terribly amateurish. Back to the drawing board, I suppose.

  A costume design, sort of.

The tattoo, again. I really hope this is the final version.

Hm. The body position is good, but I'm not sure about the face.

Perhaps I sholud cut off the upper part. It looks good on paper, but this height isn't really suitable for computer viewing.
Water colour.

The bird flies to God. The God's name is Abraxas.
Green translucent paper, felt-tip pens, white lacquer.

Perhaps too stylized, but it's supposed to be a painting in the background, not a real scene in the graphic novel.
Water colour.

A secret illustration again. Also an experiment in Photoshop colouring - I want to use something similar for the comics.

And another secret illustration. Good morning with a corpse.

Geocaching, ordered by a friend of a friend... The quality is awful - I didn't have time to scan it, only to take a photo.
Black ink, water colour.
