This is actually the fourth version of my site, although formerly it was named Guardian Angel. But that domain was already occupied and I didn't want it anyway (sounds a bit religiously...). here you can see the previous versions and also some new designs.
Whenever I plan a new design, I have so many ideas, but the problem is that displaying diverse hand-painted images in various techniques (and that's what my site is about so far) requires a special approach with minimum of colours and computer-designed graphics; creating a website with mostly text would be an entirely different problem.

For this version, I've been even experimenting with Flash and JavaScript, but refused it at the end and chose this design, which is rather minimalistic, but I think functional and comprehensible. Originally I wanted the background to be white, then I decided for black and finally chose silver, which, in my opinion, matches best the thumbnails.
Note: the black/green circle on the top was originally meant to connect the site with version 6.0.

version 2.0

05/2004 - 10/2004; frames
Back then, I intended to draw GA as an online series, and the site was designed for it. There's some information about the general idea and characters, but it has changed. The main part (the series) is black, the additional sites are white.

version 3.1
[web | jpg]
11/2004 - 08/2005
Quite professional, I hope, but it was becoming more and more confusing and difficult to organize, especially the galleries, that's why I abandoned it.
Only for Microsoft Internet Explorer.

This particular page is the only on worth showing; the rest of the website is even simpler, but that was my intention.
Only for Microsoft Internet Explorer.

androideyes.com 4.1

02/2006
The current version: the thumbnail opens a JPG screenshot of the site. I've put it here because this time the structure is rather complicated, so there may be some problems if you are using another browser than Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you are using Netscape Navigator or Opera and it isn't displayed correctly, please let me know, so I can commit suicide. There's no chance of fixing it.

GA archive - summer mode
07/2006; frames
Here I finally managed to create a site completely in white: this is the planned sub-site of androideyes.com, reserved purely for storing pages of the comics I'm trying to draw. A fresh, tropical style that for some reasons makes me think of plants and water and greenhouses.
Contains a JavaScript menu; single pages of the comics were intended to open in the frame on the right.

GA archive - winter mode
04/2006; frames
The alternate design of my comics archive. A simple structure with an ornamental, half-bordello, half-funeral design, inspired by my love for Art Nouveau and 19th century in general. I drew both the outer and inner ornament, although the latter was strongly modified in Photoshop (the *artistic/cutout* filter). The font used here is Bangle.

androideyes.com 5.0
09/2006
An ornamental design for the intended reorganization of androideyes.com, derived from the *summer* version of GA archive. I planned to put the comics on the index page but then decided against it, since it's useless when I don't have a single picture drawn yet. Also, I'm afraid that the design is probably too complicated and it may clash with the pages of the comics.
Isn't programmed properly. Intended to use frames with individual pages opening in the right one.

androideyes.com 6.0 [greenhouse]
05/2007; frames
Designed for the same purpose as 5.0, only I like this one much better. The problem with this design is also the same as always - though the site looks rather attractive, it doesn't match the pages of the comics. I still think that the drawings look best on white/light grey. But I still intend to launch it as soon as I finally get to draw something...
Each icon is supposed to open a chapter index in the right frame.
